So first print of a coat hook came out really messy,
Looking this up in the forum suggested that this was EMI noise from the stepper motor affecting the y axis microswitch... The advice was to make sure the wires were separated
However the electronics engineer in me says this wouldn't be good enough. So a ferrite placed on the stepper motor cable at the controller board solved this issue. Its needed on the stepper motor cable as this is what radiates the noise. The ferries job is to suck this noise away and dissipate it as heat
